I’ve had many requests to do a post about child life resumes, so I have thought long and hard about what to share that would be beneficial and helpful to my readers. Many people in child life are concerned about correctly tailoring their resumes to the field while keeping it short, sweet, and to the point. Based on my own experiences as a student and new professional, I will share some of my own advice for child life resumes.
Take my tips with a grain of salt – if you haven’t already figured it out, your resume is not going to please EVERY single person that lays eyes on it. Everyone has different views on resumes and you will not be able to tailor your resume to please every single institution you send it to. Just something to keep in mind!
